DarkMatter is a long-running active market that pioneered a Monero-first, walletless design: buyers pay vendors directly rather than into a central market wallet, with optional 2-of-3 multisig escrow.
Market things: XMR privacy, trusted on darknet markets, Tor, privacy and online security. Follow the link below for more detailed at the link.

History
DarkMatter launched in November 2022 and was among the first Western markets to make Monero multisig a headline feature. It built a large user base over the following years, with tracker reports of tens of thousands of listings and close to a hundred thousand user accounts.
Operation
The market operates primarily in Monero, with some vendors accepting Bitcoin or Litecoin. Payments are made directly to sellers without a pooled deposit wallet, and buyers can check out without an account. Optional 2-of-3 multisig escrow provides dispute protection, and the site publishes a warrant canary as a signal of law-enforcement pressure.
Current status
DarkMatter remains active and is consistently listed among the larger Monero-first venues. Its accountless and walletless design is widely credited with reducing the attack surface that doomed pooled-wallet predecessors.
Legacy
DarkMatter demonstrated that direct-payment, self-custodial markets could operate at scale, and its architecture anticipated the walletless trend later adopted by many of the current leading venues.
