Active

DrugHub is one of the largest active markets of the mid-2020s, an English-language venue whose Monero-only, walletless design drew users after the fall of Tor2Door and then Abacus.

History

DrugHub launched in 2023 and established itself as a major general-purpose market, growing strongly after Tor2Door collapsed. It absorbed further demand when Archetyp was seized and Abacus exit-scammed in the summer of 2025, and tracker sites reported hundreds of thousands of listings at its peak.

Operation

DrugHub operates exclusively in Monero and uses walletless smart-contract escrow, so funds pass directly to vendors instead of a central wallet. Accounts use PGP and 2-FA, the front-end can run with JavaScript disabled by default, and the category tree spans drugs, digital goods, fraud products and services.

Current status

DrugHub remains active and is consistently ranked among the most visited markets of the late 2020s. Its Monero-only policy has made it a central test case for the industry-wide shift away from Bitcoin.

Legacy

DrugHub embodies the post-2025 consolidation toward a small number of large, Monero-first English markets, and its walletless escrow is now a common reference point for how modern venues structure payments.
