History
Kingdom Market launched around 2021 and grew into a major international venue with tens of thousands of listings. It was unusual in combining drug listings with criminal services such as malware, stolen data and fraud-related products.
Operation
The market accepted Bitcoin and Monero and operated with international seller and buyer bases. Its broad scope made it a significant node in the ecosystem of the early 2020s.
Downfall
In December 2023 Kingdom Market was taken down in a German-led operation coordinated with international partners, a pattern repeated across several takedowns of the period. The site was replaced by a seizure banner and its infrastructure was dismantled.
Legacy
Kingdom's seizure, together with the Incognito and Nemesis operations of 2024, marked the end of the large general-purpose market model in the mid-2020s and pushed commerce toward smaller and more resilient venues.
