Tor2Door was a large general-purpose market of the early 2020s that vanished in mid-2023 in what trackers judged a probable exit scam.

History
Tor2Door launched around 2022 and expanded quickly into one of the largest active markets, carrying not only drugs but also digital goods, stolen data and other services in a single venue.
Operation
The market accepted Bitcoin and Monero and combined traditional escrow with a large, diverse category tree. Its broad catalog and aggressive growth made it a familiar name in tracker lists of the period.
Downfall
In June 2023 the site went offline abruptly and user funds were not recoverable. Trackers and forums classified the event as a probable exit scam rather than a law-enforcement seizure, as no takedown was announced and the wallets emptied.
Legacy
Tor2Door's collapse, alongside the closures of ASAP and other venues, left a gap in the market that the current generation of Monero-first venues grew to fill, and it reinforced the community's distrust of rapid-growth markets.
